The Sketching and Constructing process:

Assessments for Recycled cardboard panel:
1. design assessment
2. Final assessment

Design assessment:

1. You completed six initial sketches
2. Your design is made up of shapes
3. Your design is an appealing composition with flowing eye movement and/or pattern
4. Your final sketch fills up the entire square area
5. Your final sketch shows a sufficient number of lines indicating the direction of the cardboard
6. Your final sketch clearly and completely indicates the levels (high, medium, low) of your design with shading (light, medium, dark)
7. Your final sketch is done neatly and thoroughly


Final assessment:


1. You completely covered your panel with recycled cardboard shapes
2. Your design is an appealing composition with flowing eye movement and/or pattern
3. You glued cardboard strips neatly and completely
4. You filled all gaps with smaller pieces of cardboard
5. You created all three levels of your design
6. You created an "edge wall" a half inch away from the panel edge. Your pieces are even.
7. Your color treatment is neat and enhances your design
