Why look at art?: Why look at art? This was the question we posed to several of our colleagues at a conference for museum professionals. Special thanks to Laura Mann, Anna Velez, an anonymous professional, and David Torgersen whose voices and insights are included here.

Now, after reviewing what art has been over time, revise your definition as needed. Why did you change (or not change) your definition?

Art Definition assessment:

1. You completed all three question/definitions
2. Your revised definition reflects the broadness of what art has been over time, but narrow enough that art is not everything
3. You clearly explained yourself with care
